These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the muskokiqqs website at muskokiqqs.club and our services, including the Weekend Retreat Experience, Full Residency with Nature Programming, and Family Reunion Hosting Package. By accessing our website or inquiring about our services, you agree to the terms set out below. muskokiqqs is operated from 88 Manitoba Street, Bracebridge, ON P1L 2B5, Canada.

By using this website or submitting a contact form, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of a family member or another individual, you represent that you have authority to do so. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

3. Service Description & Availability

muskokiqqs offers three non-medical senior living services at our Bracebridge, Ontario property:

  • Weekend Retreat Experience: A 3-day, 2-night residential retreat, available spring through autumn, at CAD $225 per night.
  • Full Residency with Nature Programming: Year-round private suite residency with communal amenities, at a base amenity fee of CAD $510 per month.
  • Family Reunion Hosting Package: Multi-day event hosting for groups of up to 12 guests, available spring through autumn, at CAD $950 per event.

Availability is subject to capacity and scheduling. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion. Services are available to residents of Canada and international inquirers; however, residency arrangements are subject to applicable Ontario regulations.

Users of this website and our services agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in all forms and communications
  • Use the website for lawful purposes only
  • Refrain from reproducing, distributing, or modifying website content without written permission
  • Respect the privacy and comfort of other residents and guests during any visit or stay
  • Disclose relevant accessibility or health considerations in advance, to enable appropriate planning

All content on this website — including text, photography, design, and branding — is the property of muskokiqqs or its licensors and is protected under applicable Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute any content without prior written consent. A limited, non-exclusive license is granted to access and view this website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment terms for specific services are discussed and confirmed during the booking process. Payment methods accepted are discussed during inquiry. Deposits may be required to secure bookings for retreat or reunion packages.

Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellation policies are confirmed at the time of booking. We aim to handle cancellations with fairness and flexibility, particularly in cases of health or family circumstances. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Weekend Retreat: Bookings are confirmed in writing. The retreat is non-medical and does not include nursing or clinical care. Guests are responsible for their own medications and healthcare arrangements during their stay.

Full Residency: Residency arrangements are formalized through a separate Residency Agreement, which supersedes these Terms with respect to the ongoing living arrangement. The base amenity fee covers non-medical support services only.

Family Reunion Package: All bookings require advance liaison coordination. Final guest numbers, dietary information, and accessibility details must be provided no fewer than 14 days before the event date. Changes after this point may not be fully accommodable.

8. Disclaimers

muskokiqqs is a non-medical senior living residence. We do not provide nursing care, medical treatment, or clinical services of any kind. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice.

Website content is provided for informational purposes. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that information is complete, current, or free of error. The website is provided "as is."

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, muskokiqqs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold muskokiqqs, its staff, and its principals harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or any inaccurate information you have provided.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to our services if a user violates these Terms or behaves in a manner incompatible with the wellbeing of our residents or community. Ongoing residency arrangements are governed by the separate Residency Agreement, which includes specific termination provisions.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

13. General Provisions

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver. This Agreement represents the entire understanding between you and muskokiqqs with respect to website use, and supplements (but does not replace) any specific service agreements entered into separately.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
